In 2003, Emily Poling started a small Bible study with about six middle school girls. They met about every other week and developed a unique bond with one another. Over the years, the little group began to expand, and the Bible study took a slight turn in direction...not in purpose, but in how it was fulfilled. Emily wanted to provide a place where these young ladies could “hang out” on a Friday or Saturday night and not have to worry about compromising 
anything. Even more importantly, she wanted them to continue to feed on the Word of God as a group. Over the next few years, the little group of six grew leaps and bounds! More adult leaders with the same passion for serving middle school and high school girls joined the ministry team. It’s been an incredible journey…and one that continues to move forward. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21).
- -HIS Gatherings: Once a month, on a Friday or Saturday (from September through May), the HIS Daughters ministry team hosts an evening for girls to get together for a time of Bible teaching and fellowship. Some of the topics covered in past Bible studies have been modesty, cliques, the power of words, purity, relationships with parents, and body image…just to name a few. The fellowship time has included such events as kickball games, pajama parties, Hawaiian luaus, charades, 70’s night…and there are many more to come!
- -Diggin’ Deep: This is a time of small group Bible study and prayer time led by some of the HIS Daughters leadership team. This is a great way to get connected and stay accountable! (these studies are middle/high school specific)
- -Steppin’ Out: HIS Daughters are out on mission! Whether it is singing at a local nursing home, serving meals at a nearby homeless shelter, or helping missionaries overseas, we are ready to serve the Lord!
- -Girl Time: Girls just wanna have fun, right? We invite girls to c’mon and join us for these social events!
- Check the calendar on the “What’s Up” page for event listings! Any young lady in middle school (6th-8th grade) or high school (9th-12th) is invited to attend.

…Jesus is the human incarnation of God, being fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died an atoning death on the cross for the sin of all mankind, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven, and is coming again for all believers - …humans were created in the image of God, but fell into the temptation of sin. Because of our sinful nature, we have no hope for eternity in heaven without Jesus Christ.
- …salvation is through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ alone
- …the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, enabling them to live godly lives
- …in the second physical coming of Christ to establish His eternal kingdom
